On Sundays, our services begin at 11am.  As you arrive you will find someone in the foyer to welcome you.  They will be able to show you where to go and answer any enquiries you may have.  We aim to finish by 12.15pm and refreshments are served immediately after the service.   Each Sunday there are songs, prayers and a talk which connects the Bible to our lives.  Questions about the talk, or any other part of the service, are always very welcome.

We hope to make everyone feel at home when they visit and you can feel free to simply watch what happens during the service without any pressure to join in with the prayers or songs.  There is no dress code and many people wear casual clothes.

We are always glad to see families at Shepherd Drive and parents don’t need to worry if their little ones are noisy. Most of our services include a 5-minute slot, especially for the children. Following this, we have three groups for children to join:

– Mini Diggers – all children up to the end of Key Stage 1 (up to school year 2)
– Diggers – Key stage 2 age group (school years 3-6)
– Bigger Diggers – young people in school years 7-9

There is also a baby room for parents with very small children which has a large window into the main hall and an audio link so that, if you feel more comfortable, you can feed or look after your child there but still feel part of the service.

Further information:

  • There is level access from the adjacent car park and throughout the whole building for wheelchair users and those with buggies.
  • There is an accessible toilet in the foyer.
  • There is a hearing loop installed at the church which is used for all our services.
