Categories:
- One cake (diameter 6” to 8”)
- Six whole scones (savoury or fruit)
Entrants can enter more than one entry
- Children’s Class (Primary School age): Six homemade decorated cup cakes
Entries:
- must be received at the Church between 10 and 10.30 am on Saturday 24 September
- all entrants must check in at the registration desk with their cake(s)
- there shall be no identifying marks on or near the cake
- after judging, cakes will be on display, with awards until 12 noon
- cakes are donated to the Church and after judging has taken place, they will be eaten by those visiting the Open Day
- cakes may be photographed and shared on the Church’s website and social media, and by entering the competition you are giving us permission to share pictures
- Plates, trays, tins or cake boards must be collected from the Church between 12 noon and 2.30pm on Saturday 24 September
Judging:
- will begin promptly at 10.30am
- cakes will be judged on various aspects of appearance and taste
- the judges’ decisions are final
Awards:
- There will be prizes for the winners (Gold, Silver and Bronze).
- An awards ceremony will take place at 11.45am at the Open Day
